However, the story of Jones is not just a piece of American mythology – it is a true story. He was a real-life locomotive engineer killed when his passenger train struck a freight train.
At the museum, you can take a tour of Casey’s 1890s home, which was restored to look exactly as it did when he died in April of 1900. In the museum, you will also be able to see a number of different exhibits and artifacts from the era. You can also see a replica of the famous engine #382 and an 80-foot rail car.
